Transit Love Season 4 Episode 6 Recap

Episode 6 of EXchange Season 4 started on a light note with the entrance of a special guest, singer DAWN, who appeared on TV for the first time since his discharge from the military. The panellists were excited to see him, even more so when the host, Lee Yong-jin, revealed that this show had tried to cast him in an earlier season. Calm and humorous as ever, DAWN hinted that his personal life wasn’t all smooth at that time, subtly referring to the public breakup with HyunA. Being asked whether he supports getting back to exes or finding a new one, DAWN revealed that he never called an ex after their breakup, meaning he’s very much Team “Move On.”

Emotional undercurrents had already formed at the PyeongChang-dong house: in one of the conversations, Hyeon-ji told Min-kyung, while alone in a room, that she wanted to go on another date with Yoo-sik. She sounded so full of conflict, torn between trying something new and being cautious. Min-kyung replied that having a different person might give her more clarity on who her heart wants to be with.

Incidentally, Min-kyung shared that she hadn’t gone on a date with Woo-jin yet, either – she’d been thinking of doing it this time. That conversation revealed hidden clues as to whom Hyeon-ji would remain with: her ex Baek-hyun or Yoo-sik, and insinuated that Min-kyung might have already guessed the fact that Hyeon-ji had also had a previous relationship.

Later on, the ladies made their moves: Min-kyung asked Woo-jin out, and Hyeon-ji went on a second date with Yoo-sik. Min-kyung’s date with Woo-jin had to be one of the cutest moments of the week. They painted dolls together light-hearted, creative activity that served as a great icebreaker. Their playful banter came out with ease, and the chemistry between them became pretty apparent. At dinner, Woo-jin described his ideal type, which fit Min-kyung to a tee. Both seemed pretty drawn to each other, and a connection did seem to be in the works.

Meanwhile, Hyeon-ji and Yoo-sik’s date meant much more emotionally. Though the two were outspoken with each other, there was still some tension in the atmosphere. Hyeon-ji still thought that Yoo-sik was holding back and felt a bit distant after all they had been through together. Yoo-sik, in turn, reassured her he had a good time, though the tone wasn’t quite convincing.

Meanwhile, when the others go out, Baek-hyun is left behind in the house with Yun-nyeong. Their easy rapport and mutual teasing gave the episode some of its warmest moments. The two enjoy cake and deep conversation, and at one point, Baek-hyun lets it slip that he’s been sending her nightly texts for the past three days. It was a subtle but meaningful confession that made it clear he’s growing fond of her.

Elsewhere, Ji-yeon and Won-kyu went on a comfortable date, which only underlined their budding chemistry. Ji-yeon was so open about her feelings as to state that even if she had multiple chances, she would still choose Won-kyu, thereby making it clear where her heart was.

Returning to the house, they found a letter instructing them that all the contestants should introduce themselves, stating their occupations, and nothing else. The room was filled with nervous laughter, as one by one, they started to introduce themselves:

Ji-yeon: Web Designer

Won-kyu: Oriental Medicine Doctor

Ji-hyeon: Acting Teacher

Yoo-sik: Dancer

Yun-nyeong: Fashion Brand Employee

Baek-hyun: Actor

Min-kyung: Graduate Student & Dancer

Woo-jin: Restaurant Manager

Hyeon-ji: Flight Attendant

When all was done, the next cue came: the “heart flutter” message. The contestants could anonymously text the person who had made their heart race that day.

Ji-yeon messaged Won-kyu, to which he replied sweetly: “See you in a bit.” Baek-hyun received a message from Yun-nyeong, saying “The pasta was great,” while he texted her “, See you tomorrow at 3.” As for Yoo-sik, his messages included “Don’t stay up too late” from Ji-hyeon and “Thank you for the food, I’ll treat you next time” from Hyeon-ji. However, Yoo-sik responded to Hyeon-ji with an overly formal text, saying “Great work today,” leaving her doubting. Min-kyung and Woo-jin shared light, emoji-filled messages to tease each other for their date and showed mutual affection.

The night really ended on a sombre note with Ji-hyeon, who, right after not getting any message from Yoo-sik, burst into tears, feeling left out; Hyeon-ji tried to comfort her but soon found herself crying, too, overwhelmed by the tangle of her emotions. Of course, an emotional climax arose when Baek-hyun coolly mentioned that he’d thrown away the introduction letter from his ex right in front of everyone. It visibly hurt Hyeon-ji sitting right next to him, and we could see how deep that stung. At the end of the episode, she cries all alone in the bathroom and shows just how unresolved her feelings still are.

Transit Love Season 4 Episode 7 Recap

Episode 7 of EXchange Season 4 opened with a quiet morning as everyone prepared for their day. Ji-yeon initiated things by asking Won-kyu out on another casual date, continuing their easygoing dynamic. Shortly after, she received a mysterious message: “Someone has sent you a chat request, please enter the chat room.”

That’s when the show brought in the new resident, Lee Jae-hyeong, who raised eyebrows right away. As an introductory process, he got to talk to each female contestant for 10 minutes. He had to choose with whom he wanted to go on a date during that time, and the moment he chose someone, the rest of the conversations would end. After talking to Ji-yeon, Yun-nyeong, and Min-kyung, Jae-hyeong chose Min-kyung, citing that their conversation flowed the best.

Meanwhile, at the house, Ji-hyeon quietly left a handwritten note, asking Yoo-sik to go on a date with her. And as Min-kyung was getting ready for her date, Hyeon-ji noticed that her outfit somehow matched Baek-hyun’s, and both left the house at the same time. Assuming they were going on a date together, Hyeon-ji broke down in tears moment revealing how unready she still is to see Baek-hyun move on.

Baek-hyun’s real date, however, was with Yun-nyeong, and it happened to be one of the sweetest in the series. The two spent their afternoon of woodworking making wooden cutting boards for each other, symbolic and rather surprisingly intimate, while at ease with the laughter and developing chemistry. Later, he even gifted Yun-nyeong a bracelet he had worn for years, which did not go unnoticed among fans.

Back at the house, meanwhile, a huge revelation was unfolding. Ji-hyeon was seen going up to Woo-kyu’s room. First, it appeared that she was leaving the note for Yoo-sik. However, as the conversation unfolded, it exposed something even more: Ji-hyeon and Woo-kyu are exes. The pitch of their discussion was tense, with subtle resentment underlying it. The breakup had not gone well between them, and it seemed both parties wanted to move on, but emotional scars continued to linger.

Elsewhere, Jae-hyeong and Min-kyung’s date flowed just as smoothly. The two connected well, talking about hobbies and ideal types, to the point where Min-kyung confessed afterwards in the interview that Jae-hyeong makes her heart flutter. Later, Jae-hyeong said he’d like to go out with her again, signalling the start of another possible romance.

Evening brought another wave of revelations. Woo-kyu asked Ji-yeon to help with dinner preparations. Just as they were cooking, in came Woo-jin, who later realised Ji-yeon was spending time with another man. Later, Woo-jin went into Ji-yeon’s room, and it was there that we learned how Woo-jin and Ji-yeon are exs.

Their story was emotional: They met when Ji-yeon left her name and number for Woo-jin at his restaurant. They had been dating from March 2024 to March 2025, but as Woo-jin got busy preparing for the opening of his own restaurant, his coldness made Ji-yeon feel increasingly lonely. As they had agreed to give it another try, Ji-yeon called the next day, saying that she couldn’t feel neglected any longer.

In the time room, Woo-jin changed his clock to 7:00, showing he is open to someone new but still has lingering affection, while Ji-yeon’s clock was at 11:30, a sign that she is ready to move forward completely.

Later in the episode, the conversations between them became raw and painful; Ji-yeon made it very clear that she does not want to get back together. Episode 7 wrapped up with an entire group scene in the living room that sets up even more emotional confrontations in the next episode.
