Why Did Kang Si-woo Resign from Saeum Electronics?
The decision of Kang Si-woo to leave his job was not made impulsively; rather, it was an outcome of several months of unhappiness with the office environment at Saeum Electronics. Throughout the entire story, he always worked toward helping his colleagues and suggesting productive ideas. But each success was associated with some kind of political manoeuvring that seemed irrelevant.
This became his breaking point when Cha Ji-yoon’s well-deserved promotion was refused simply because the two shared a private relationship, whereas rumours were flying around about him. He realised that no matter what he did, there was no way for him to protect his colleagues from such an unfair hierarchy and looks-based system. After his discussions with his father and telling Ji-yoon all his problems, Si-woo made up his mind to leave if he had to compromise his principles.
Even as the president tried to persuade him to change his mind, Si-woo was convinced that his decision to resign had more to do with the lack of recognition of talent and innovation as a consequence of its novelty. This was because of the way Ji-yoon’s chances of promotion were wasted.
What Happened to Manager Ko in the Ending of See You At Work Tomorrow?
Manager Ko was largely part of the conflict related to manipulation of the employees, stealing credit for their work, and engaging in office politics in order to retain his position. Did Yun No-ah and Lee Jae-in End Up Together in See You At Work Tomorrow?
Indeed, Yun No-ah and Lee Jae-in eventually ended up together despite having faced an obstacle in their romantic relationship, which turned out to be one of the toughest. All along, their relationship had been founded on support for each other, but things turned out to be tricky when Yun No-ah received a chance to work abroad in Senegal for two years. Instead of lying, she admitted to him that accepting the job offer was something she wanted and which gave her the courage to apply for it.
The problem was that Jae-in was not receptive to the idea. Since most of his life he had travelled around various countries due to his father’s career, he was tired of constant departures and fragile relationships. After a hard day at work, Ji-yoon goes to the bridge to meet Si-woo, who decides to take up the bold initiative to propose and give her a diamond ring. But while about to ask Ji-yoon to become his wife, she surprises him by giving him her own diamond ring.
