For me, last week’s episode wasn’t emotionally striking, which seldom happens whenever I watch Transit Love. Usually, I’m so eager to watch ex-couples reveal their pasts to the housemates, but it surprisingly left me unaffected. This EXchange Season 4 Episode 15 preview, however, has completely changed that. The dynamics promised for this forthcoming episode would be nothing less than dramatic, particularly the chaotic dynamics wherein Baek-hyun, Seung Yong, and Hyeon-ji are involved, now that everyone has learned each other’s relationship history.
With everyone finally knowing each other’s relationship history, this forthcoming episode is set to be unpredictable and probably heartbreaking.

EXchange Season 4 Episode 15 begins with the arrival of a new letter in Japan, which is the first one since their trip. It is now time to give the men a challenge in recommending a date partner to their exes. The catch? They cannot choose themselves.
Ji-yeon asks Woo-jin to introduce Won-kyu to her, but Woo-jin only reacts with a sarcastic smile: “You never know—it’s my choice.” Later on, he reveals how a sight as Ji-yeon travelling in Japan with Won-kyu irritates him.
Meanwhile, Baek-hyun is in yet another emotional turmoil: confronting Yoo-sik about his feelings for Hyeon-ji, he himself admits that his feelings vacillate to the point that Hyeon-ji even hints she may try again with him.
It doesn’t stop there, for in episode 15 of Transit Love season 4, Yun-nyeong finds Baek-hyun and Hyeon-ji talking with each other in private. She cannot contain herself: her feelings of hurt resurfaced as she realised the unresolved emotions that Baek-hyun had with his ex were still there even when her own feelings for him had grown.

EXchange Season 4 Episode 13 Recap
EXchange Season 4 Episode 13 gets underway with Seung Yong hurt after his ex failed to choose him during the message round. On the other side, Woo-jin and Ji-yeon have one of the most frank conversations they’ve had to this point. Woo-jin says that coming back from the ex-room made him reflect on the past, on Ji-yeon’s pain, and whether he can change. He reveals that no matter who he went on dates with, his mind always wandered back to her. He really does believe he wants to fix things and try again.
But Ji-yeon remains skeptical, believing the words to be “just words.” She tells him that unless she sees continued effort, she won’t change her mind. Woo-jin attempts to prove said effort by making ramen for her, comforting her, and answering every “test” she tosses his way.
Meanwhile, Ji-hyeon scolds Won-kyu because she finds out that the latter has been on a date with Ji-yeon. Won-kyu explains that it started with a simple plan for them to go shopping, but to her, he shows no sincerity, which makes things tense between them.
The most emotional moment of Episode 13 in Transit Love Season 4 is when Hyeon-ji opens up to Baek-hyun and finally admits she still has feelings for him. Baek-hyun does not know what to do after that confession.
The cast members pack up to head to Japan and leave the next morning with whomever they choose, and Won-kyu and Ji-yeon are relaxed with each other on the plane en route and on the date. This suggests that despite what went down with their exes, perhaps their bond may not be totally done developing. Episode 13 of EXchange Season 4 wrapped up on the sweet, light-hearted date of Baek-hyun and Yun-nyeong, full of “bubble-like” moments such as the small scene of them holding hands, signaling mutual affection.

EXchange Season 4 Episode 14 begins with continuations in Japan with dates across the remaining members. When everyone finally gets together in the house, they are in for a big shock: a projector set up means the ex-reveals they’ve been waiting for are finally about to go down. Hyeon-ji looks anxious, concerned with how others might feel knowing she came onto the show with two ex-boyfriends.
The room was always filled with shock, emotions, and awkward tension with each new revelation until the final, most unexpected surprise, when out came both Baek-hyun and Seung Yong as Hyeon-ji’s exes. No one had expected anyone to come in with not just one but two ex-partners; the atmosphere instantly got heavy.
In Episode 14 of Transit Love Season 4, more is revealed about the relationship between Hyeon-ji and Seung Yong. From January 2023 to September 2024, they dated for one year and spent their time touring and enjoying each other. Nevertheless, during the second year, fights and resentment brought them to their breakup.
Downstairs in the clock room, Seung Yong sets it at 4:30, showing more interest in reconciling with his ex. On the other hand, Hyeon-ji sets her alarm at 9:00, proving that she wants to look for something new.
