All About the Blue Dragon Series Awards 2026
Established in 2022 by Sports Chosun, the Blue Dragon Series Awards were established to honour achievements in original streaming productions, in the midst of OTT platforms revolutionising the Korean entertainment industry. Different from regular television award shows that feature dramas and entertainment programs, the awards feature only streaming programs in the drama and variety shows, giving recognition only to the top content creators in this industry.
In the last five years, the ceremony has been celebrating many of Korea’s most successful online dramas and variety shows while recognising new talents in the industry.
5th Blue Dragon Series Awards MCs
Once again coming back to conduct the ceremony are the duo of Jun Hyun-moo and Lim Yoon-a, who have continued to host the event from its first-ever Blue Dragon Series Awards in 2022.
Hosting the awards ceremony together for the fifth time, they have become one of the most prominent duo MCs of Korean award ceremonies. Their talent and easy-going manner of working together have become an integral part of the event for the viewers to look forward to.

This year’s ceremony will be held on July 31, 2026, at CHROMA, Paradise City, located in Yeongjongdo, Incheon.
