Take Charge of My Heart Ending Explained
What Really Happened at TS Group’s 30th Anniversary Celebration?
The celebration takes a dangerous turn when Choi Do-yoon puts his plan to take control of TS Group into action. He knows that Na Bo-bae is very important to Baek Ho-rang, so he kidnaps her and holds her captive in a temple. Meanwhile, he also manages to tamper with Ho-rang’s drink, which causes the battery of his artificial heart to deplete very quickly. Ho-rang is supposed to give a speech at the party, but his mind is set on Bo-bae, who hasn’t shown up yet. But because of his worsening condition, he still tries to give his speech.
In the meantime, Bo-bae gets out of the temple with the help of Jae-ho and heads to the celebration. The only problem is she arrives after Ho-rang passes out. Determined to save the man she loves, Bo-bae employs her electrical powers to restore Ho-rang’s heartbeat, sending electricity through him. This plan works out, but Bo-bae herself ends up unconscious. As a result, Ho-rang is saved and has to go through surgery, during which he gets a new artificial heart. But the doctor tells Bo-bae that her electric power can mess up the new heart and eventually kill him if she ever touches him again. While Bo-bae managed to save Ho-rang, he might now be in danger because of her.

Why Did Bo-bae Leave Ho-rang?
Bo-bae decides to leave Ho-rang because he might die if her electric powers kill him. She loves him with all her heart, but once her electric powers help her get his heart beating again, she realises that his artificial heart will be too fragile to survive the next time around. For a woman who has spent her entire life fighting against her weird powers and finding it difficult to have normal physical contact with others, such a condition would prove to be very painful for her.
Bo-bae comes back to her family in Daejeon, thinking that this will keep Ho-rang safe from her powers. It does not mean that she has stopped loving him, and she does not regret having a relationship with him. On the contrary, she has left him because her love for him was so powerful that she decided to sacrifice her time spent with him in order to protect him. Ho-rang, in turn, refuses to accept the idea that they have to part ways just because their future is uncertain. He knows about the danger, but he still wants to stay with her.

How Did Ho-rang Win Back Bo-bae?
Following Bo-bae to Daejeon, Ho-rang is resolved to stick by her no matter what she does to discourage him. She tells him that her electricity could suddenly come back and end up shocking him to death, but Ho-rang will not let his fear decide the matter for him. Staying with her family, Ho-rang is careful about his real position and introduces himself as someone working in the lodging business.
He tries to win over the hearts of her parents by helping them in their business of selling Shine Muscat grape jam. He starts proving to them his love for Bo-bae. However, her father reminds him that love also involves obligations to other people. The talk helps Ho-rang to realise that he should shoulder his responsibilities instead of running away from them. Bo-bae, on the other hand, becomes aware of the fact that her powers have been missing for much longer than they ever did.

Though she is not sure whether they will come back to her again, she makes the decision that she no longer wants to live separately from Ho-rang because of the fear of that. At the ending of Take Charge of My Heart, she thus returns to Seoul with him since she feels that she too needs him in her life. It is now a new beginning for them since it is not because of her charging of his artificial heart that brings them together again.
What Happened to Do-yoon?
The effort made by Do-yoon to replace Ho-rang and take over at TS Group ultimately fails. He may have temporary powers, but he cannot convince all people that he is the best person to take over the company. This is evident when the Sterling Group cancels its appointment and demands to do business only with Ho-rang. It is very difficult for Do-yoon to keep his power, and he starts becoming desperate about it. The relationship between Do-yoon and Han Seol-hee gets worse too.

While preparing for their marriage, Seol-hee comes to know that Do-yoon’s power is unstable and he still has all his grudges against Ho-rang. In one of their arguments, she tells him how he cannot get out of Ho-rang’s influence. Do-yoon loses his temper and tries to beat Seol-hee, but she manages to escape. As his plans fall apart and his anger grows beyond control, Do-yoon takes to the wheel while drunk. In a phone conversation with his mother, Baek Gyeong-jin, Do-yoon expresses his long-suppressed anger about how everyone has always been paying attention to Ho-rang while neglecting him. His driving leads to an accident, and he ends up getting arrested.
His situation worsens as it comes to light that he was involved in the kidnapping of Bo-bae and the poisoning of Ho-rang’s drink. Other charges also follow his actions. This scandal ruins all his chances of being in contention for the leadership, and at the end of Take Charge of My Heart, Do-yoon and his mother are disqualified from the struggle for succession. Ho-rang manages to regain his status as the leader of TS Group, but his grandmother makes it clear that he must prove himself. The ultimate fall of Do-yoon stems from letting his jealousy and anger drive his decisions for years.

How Does Take Charge of My Heart End?
Take Charge of My Heart episode 10 concludes with a positive ending for Ho-rang and Bo-bae. As the plans of Do-yoon are revealed, Ho-rang will be able to resume his duties at TS Group and at the same time help the one he loves. Bo-bae will also be able to get her career back on track. Her friend Seo-jeong becomes a director, and Bo-bae finally has a chance to see her name on screen since her new series The Bodyguard in My Heart starts shooting.
Ho-rang comes to the shooting location and gets quite emotional seeing that Bo-bae is listed as a screenwriter. This scene means a lot to Bo-bae, who has been having trouble with her strange abilities and the complications they have caused in her private life for such a long time. At the end of Take Charge of My Heart, Bo-bae and Ho-rang have developed a normal relationship that would have been impossible for them before. They can go on dates, walk around crowds, hold hands, and kiss each other without having to worry about her electricity.

The last scene creates a little doubt about their future because Bo-bae feels a small electric shock when she touches Ho-rang. However, he doubts whether it was only static electricity, and Bo-bae accepts his opinion. This moment does not mean that her powers come back to her, but it shows that their life might not be completely free from any troubles. Nevertheless, the shock did not harm Ho-rang, and the two of them stayed together. Their future does not promise any certainty, but it offers them much more than that – the chance to live together and face everything that comes next.
