Oasis Ending Explained
What Really Happened to Helena in the Beachside Woods?
The biggest enigma surrounding the events taking place in Oasis involves the loss of Helena’s memory as to what happened that night. When found disoriented close to the beachside woods, she immediately suspects that something bad might have happened while she was asleep. She becomes even more convinced when she finds out that she was washed using shampoo which is meant only for resort guests, when she does not recall going back to the hotel. It seems clear that the events took place somewhere in the closed part of the resort.
As it turns out, the truth comes to light, which is related to the drug-dealing ring that is operating in Oasis Infinity. That night, when she lost her memory, Helena happened to encounter Jaen while he was smuggling drugs into the resort. As she was a witness to something that was not meant for her eyes, Jaen became worried. In fear that both the dealers and those who operate the ring might consider her to be dangerous, he got her memory erased through the use of a drug so that she wouldn’t tell anyone about the smuggling ring.

Although his conduct was certainly wrong, the show clearly illustrates that he did not mean any malice against her; on the contrary, he was simply trying to save her from the strong figures in the resort who were part of the larger illegal business.
Who Kidnapped Celia and What Was the Real Motive?
It seems like the kidnapping of Celia is associated with various people. However, since Jaen sells drugs at the resort and does not have a good alibi, he becomes the first suspect in the case. In reality, the situation turns out to be much more complicated. In reality, the one who kidnapped Celia is none other than Inspector Sandra Ortega, who was given the job of investigating Celia’s case. During the process of searching for Celia, Sandra was trying to manipulate everything from the inside out.
It is from then on that the kidnapping starts when Celia stumbled upon proof of the involvement of her father, Luis, in illegal actions at Oasis Infinity. When Celia investigated the room in connection with the mysterious night of Helena, she uncovered a necklace which she immediately identified as one owned by her father. She decided that she had to know what the truth was, and she interrogated her father, who eventually told her that he had been using the resort for smuggling drugs. It was before he could get her to cover up their actions that Sandra came along and understood that Celia knew everything.

Afraid of being exposed, Sandra made the decision that Celia would not be permitted to talk. Without letting anyone know about it, Sandra took Celia with her and kept her in an underground room that no one knew about while still managing the investigation. Not wanting any blame to fall on herself, she tried to frame Jaen and eventually even framed her partner, Detective Ginés. The reason behind the kidnapping of Celia was that Celia found out the truth about the drug business involving her father, as well as a corrupt policeman.
How Did Dani and Helena Finally Rescue Celia At the End of Oasis?
Having lost hope for the results of the official investigation, Dani and Helena decide to look for Celia independently. As a result of the persistent efforts on their part, they get into secret rooms and places that were previously unexplored in the resort, and they find a trail of information which helps them to come to the conclusion that this kidnapping is not an isolated case but rather a part of some greater scheme. The traces found by them lead to a drug-trafficking operation which operates under the glamorous cover of the resort.
The key for them is to link all these facts and come to the conclusion that Ortega might also be a player in this case. On the other hand, Luis starts becoming more and more desperate as the plan put forward by Sandra goes into chaos. Instead of setting Celia free, Sandra opts to tie up all the ends. She plans a meeting with Luis on top of a cliff, where she intends to kill him off and also make Celia’s killing seem as if it is a suicide. However, Dani and Helena had already put the pieces of this puzzle together by then.

Once they get there, they find out that Celia is trapped in Sandra’s car. Dani and Helena are able to release Celia from Sandra before she is able to execute her plan. They then enter into a heated exchange where Dani and Helena try to distract her while waiting for the authorities to come and rescue them. This act eventually results in their rescue from Sandra. It is after the arrival of the police at the scene that the evidence against Sandra is too much for her, resulting in her arrest. It is through their determination and loyalty that they succeed in saving themselves.
Did Oliver Truly Love Laura?
It becomes clear by the end of Oasis that Oliver’s feelings towards Laura may have been nothing but pretentious all along. Throughout the course of the season, Laura disregards the many warnings from her grandmother, who thinks that Oliver has an ulterior motive behind dating Laura, namely, he is attracted to the family’s money rather than to Laura herself. Despite being the perfect boyfriend throughout the season, several shocking secrets about Oliver surface as the season draws to an end.
The most significant clue lies in the actions of Oliver as opposed to what he says. After having access to secret documents that had been hidden away by Laura’s grandmother, he learns something about her ill health and promptly uses the knowledge against her to his own advantage. He does not use the secret in any way to promote truth in the family, but makes sure he blackmails the grandmother into accepting him, as well as giving Laura the company.

At the end of Oasis, we see Oliver attempt to establish intimacy with another woman while openly discussing the monetary benefits he will get out of his connection with Laura. It is clear that all the rumours that had been heard about him before were probably true. He seems to be able to establish his own pattern of pursuing rich women and relying on his charming personality to guarantee himself a prosperous life ahead. Oliver likes Laura only because of money and status, which are his main motivators.
Did Jon Discover the Truth About Leo and His Father’s Affair?
This question is never conclusively answered in the series, though the final episode clearly hints that Jon figured out the truth himself, or was aware of it for quite some time. At the beginning of the series, Jon was sure that Felipe, his father, was having an affair with Maca. This adds some drama to his relationship with his father, and he becomes disappointed with him. On the other hand, he gets close to Leo, not knowing that she is the woman his father is with.
But in the last episode, there comes a twist that makes all the difference. In the photos that Jon took while staying at Oasis Infinity, there is one photo that shows both Leo and Felipe in a position where it is obvious that there is some kind of intimacy. What makes this moment remarkable is Jon’s behaviour—or lack thereof. Instead of being surprised or baffled by the photo, he seems to react in the same way as if he already knew the truth.

There is an intentional ambiguity at the end of Oasis series. In one scenario, Jon could be aware of the affair but chooses to withhold this knowledge from others. On the other hand, he could have suspected the truth but failed to face it entirely. There is also another, more sinister scenario where Jon could have manipulated the whole thing to his own advantage by letting everyone believe that Felipe was having an affair with someone else while he indulged in his own affairs with Leo, since it would have been easier for him to break Leo and his father down.
Who Did Dani Ultimately Choose Between Celia and Helena?
The ending of Oasis does not leave the audience in the clear regarding the future of Dani’s love life. In light of all the events that take place at the resort, both Celia and Helena continue to be significant figures in Dani’s life. Celia is the first one who really becomes close to Dani at Oasis Infinity. His friendship with her grows out of the fact that, although they come from rich families, both feel alienated from the elitist society surrounding them.
On the other hand, Dani and Helena’s romance takes a totally different turn. While looking for Celia, both spend a lot of time together, sharing dangers, revealing truths, and encouraging each other emotionally. This investigation brings them closer than they ever thought would happen. The more mysterious the case becomes, the deeper the love for Helena grows in Dani. There are quite a few instances towards the end of the series that prove their relationship has moved beyond friendship.

In the Spanish series Oasis finale, the choice of Dani remains unclear. Instead of telling about his love to one of the girls, he feels torn between them both and ends up smiling. On the surface, it looks like he is happy that Celia returned safe and sound and does not want to give any of the friendships away.
But when taking into account the emotional development of the season, it becomes evident that Helena has turned out to be the girl Dani is most interested in. Nevertheless, the show stops at this point and does not clarify whether there was any romance involved, leaving the love triangle ambiguous. Ultimately, Dani does not declare his choice of either Celia or Helena.
