How Did Arvind Die?

However, Arvind’s story is one that becomes even darker and more tragic after he finds out about the reality of the situation closer than he thought. During the process of finding some clues together with Dev, Arvind finds a piece of evidence in the form of Bharti’s anklet. That was enough for Arvind to understand that he needed to put all the facts together. The more Arvind thought about his wife being so close to Ravi, the more he understood that she had betrayed him. Full of rage, Arvind left everything behind and rushed home.

But when the encounter takes place between Arvind and Bharti, the situation becomes extremely out of hand. Arvind, who is filled with fury and shame, is at the very edge of losing all his self-control and decides to murder Bharti and Ravi, who comes to join him. But things take an unexpected turn, and during the altercation that ensues, Bharti ends up murdering Arvind in order to defend herself. When Ravi reaches there, the damage is already done. After understanding the gravity of the incident, Ravi seeks assistance from his father. The father, Raghubir, makes sure that the body of Arvind gets dumped into a river to cover their tracks.

Was Dev Able to Find Out Who Was Responsible for Nihal and Gudiya’s Death?

Dev finds the truth at last, but his trail goes beyond the obvious culprits to reveal something far more sinister. Although he begins by chasing clues that point to gangsters, rival coaches, and the criminals who carried out the assault, the path changes when he gets an important clue that directs him to a location called the Qila, where a brothel runs in secret. He does not find the man he sought there, but rather a girl named Nishi. The first thing that strikes him about her is that she looks familiar—he recognises her from drawings found in Gudiya’s room, suggesting that Gudiya knew her in some way.

It is at this point that the story takes a twist for Dev. Bharti had been involved in the operation of human trafficking, and Gudiya had helped her run away from this location once before. It was due to this deed that she met her friend, but this same deed also placed her life in danger. In assisting Nishi, Gudiya had gained information about the illegal activities of Bharti and had planned on disclosing this matter, which made her a threat. With this piece of information, Dev realised that Gudiya’s death had not only been related to Nihal’s assault but something else entirely.

But that is not all. Upon further investigation, Dev realises that the truth is even more horrifying and heartbreaking because this time he finds out that his own father was involved. He learned that Raghubir had found out that she was pregnant, and he thought that Nihal would stop boxing due to that and thus ruin all his hopes of winning the Olympics. Therefore, he made a deal that would result in both Nihal and Gudiya losing their lives. And this is not even the only horrible revelation; it turned out that it was planned not only concerning Nihal but also Ravi’s getting back in the ring.

Was Ravi Able to Get the Glory?

In several respects, Ravi succeeds in achieving his “glory,” which has been the lifelong ambition of his father. But for him to be where he is now is a very hard road that he has to take. He has to struggle to gain his self-confidence, not because he lacks strength, but due to the trauma caused by his experiences in the ring before his first fight with Arjun. As he continues training, he gains the strength and courage needed to prove himself and finally succeed in the selection process as one who is fit to participate in the highest competition level.

But there lies a significant element of irony in such accomplishment. As Ravi strives towards achieving his Olympic dreams, he is completely oblivious to the actuality of his sister’s death and his father’s hand in it. In essence, the series ends on an inconclusive note with Ravi still in pursuit of his dream, without being aware that the entire journey was a consequence of manipulation. In this sense, Ravi’s “glory” is left to an unfinished state since, even though he gets selected for the Olympics, the series ends without exploring what happens after he uncovers the truth. It raises a pertinent question whether, after learning about the betrayal of his father, Ravi will still enter the ring and fight.

What Happened to Raghubir Singh at the End of Glory?

A climax in the story takes place at the end of Glory, where Raghubir faces the most critical situation. When Dev finds out the truth behind Gudiya’s death, he starts questioning his father at the time when Ravi needs to prove himself by building up his career. Raghubir neither denies nor regrets his deeds; rather, he tries to justify his cruel behaviour and the loss of his own daughter’s life for achieving his goals. This confession ruins everything that remains inside Dev for his father.

Enraged and heartbroken, Dev raises a gun at Raghubir. The scene takes an intense turn when the police appear, making the situation even more chaotic. Although there is no concrete depiction of the result of this scene within the series, the viewer can understand through implications that Dev ends up shooting Raghubir. Though the ending of Glory makes this point a little ambiguous, it is obvious from the emotional undertone of the series that Raghubir ends in failure.

Will there be a Glory Season 2?

At present, the Netflix India series Glory ends in such a way that it leaves some scope for its continuation, yet it doesn’t directly indicate any prospects for its next season. The episode is crafted in such a way that it appears both conclusive and non-conclusive simultaneously. Whereas the core mystery of who killed Gudiya is solved, the ramifications of the revelation are not fully addressed yet. At the very end of the episode, when Dev confronts Raghubir, we hear some gunfire, but not sure if Dev succeeded in shooting Raghubir, or if the cops fired at Dev, or if both of them got shot in the ensuing pandemonium.

The type of conclusion leaves room for speculation about how the show can continue in its next season, particularly by addressing the aftermath of Dev’s fight, Ravi’s adventures on the international scene, the fate of Bharti, and revealing the truth to the public. But since nothing has been announced officially, there is no guarantee of Season 2 of Glory. If there is one, it will probably not deal with mysterious plots but with the aftereffects of such action.
