After an emotionally grounded yet impactful opening at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, now is the time to consider the 2025 MAMA Awards Day 2 winners list. Hosted by Park Bo-gum on Day 1, the event observed a respectful and more muted nature due to the recent city tragedy, yet still brought powerful performances and remarkable feats from a few of Asia’s leading artists. While the red-carpet segment was cancelled entirely, artists let their music do the talking, and the outcome was nothing short of global envy.
Day 1 wrapped with several major victories already announced, including BOYNEXTDOOR winning Favourite Male Group, IVE securing both Favourite Global Performer and Favourite Female Group, and the rookie categories came in just as memorable: Cortis, who entered the industry only three months ago, left viewers and critics alike in awe as he secured one of the evening’s top rookie crowns, while Hearts2Hearts further proved how formidable this year’s lineup of fresh talent is.
It was also punctuated with dramatic highs, from ROSÉ and Bruno Mars finally securing VISA Song of the Year to the historic moment of Enhypen securing their very first Daesang for MAMA Awards, winning VISA Fan’s Choice of the Year. Still remaining were the biggest titles: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best Group. Fans entered Day 2 eager to see who would claim the remaining grand prizes.
As the event goes on under its revised format, Kim Hye-soo steps in as the Day 2 host, guiding viewers through the final round of categories and major awards. Just as what happened on Day 1, the red carpet for Day 2 of 2025 MAMA Awards is still cancelled as a mark of respect and sensitivity over the tragic event on November 26, 2025, when Hong Kong witnessed one of its worst fires at the Wang Fuk Court apartment complex in Tai Po, killing at least 128 people and with many more still reported missing.

2025 MAMA Awards Day 2 Performance Highlights
Day 2 of MAMA Awards 2025 began quietly, the event’s new format having a major effect on the reshaping of the stages. One of the evening’s most eagerly awaited parts—the special collaboration of the Saja Boys- was officially put off. KOZ Entertainment informed that because of the reduced program, BOYNEXTDOOR would be pulling out of the performance, and the fans were asked for their understanding. Shortly thereafter, it was also announced that TWS would not be attending their Day 2 scheduled stage, further illustrating the cautious modifications made by the ceremony.
The subdued atmosphere did not last long as Sung and Kyoka opened the night with a very dynamic performance, which was very clever in terms of revisiting the energy of the iconic dance battle of Sung and Lip J from Boys Planet. The dancers’ sharp synchronisation and on-stage chemistry not only set a very exciting tone for the rest of the ceremony but also won the audience over. The strong momentum that the opening act created was further carried over to ALL DAY PROJECT, who performed the track FAMOUS in a very powerful and passionate way, thus injecting intensity and flair into the evolving lineup of performances.
As the Mama 2025 Day 2 winners keep being announced, the activity of live performances is bringing in the needed energy. A special tie-in stage with KPop Demon Hunters, which was one of the anticipated segments of the night, made a dramatic appearance as well. The performance began with Duffy the Tiger, one of the key characters in the film, coming up on stage just before actor Ahn Hyo-seob, who voices the villain Jinu, said the creepy line, “Remember this voice?” BabyMonster’s Ahyeon, Rora, and Pharita then came in at the same time as HUNTR/X and performed a remarkable version of Golden while fully portraying the characters from the animated world.
