Well, as the end is within sight, unresolved feelings are resurfacing, and almost every ex-couple appears more emotionally tangled than ever. On one side, Woo-jin and Ji-yeon remain the most complicated pair. Woo-jin has clearly mentioned that he wants to get back together, proving his feelings for Ji-yeon are still strong. However, Ji-yeon still holds resentment over what he has done in the past, which means she is far from forgiving him. While their emotional connection is undeniable, her guarded attitude makes their future uncertain.
Meanwhile, Ji-hyeon and Won-kyu are still trying to work through the aftermath of a really painful breakup. Every conversation the two of them have devolves into another fight, with their personalities colliding. Though their chemistry is palpable, their communication problem makes me wonder if they can ever find their way back or if some wounds run too deep.

Finally, in EXchange Season 4 Episode 16, the viewers will get to see the dates for ex-partners chosen by the male participants. And among them, Min-kyung and Woo-jin’s date is the most heartwarming. Min-kyung earlier shared that if she got a chance to go on another date in Japan, she would choose Woo-jin, thereby showing signs of closeness between the two.
Their time together seems set to involve deeper conversations, and it will be interesting to see if Woo-jin decides to be forthright about his lingering feelings for Ji-yeon. That could bring an end to his developing attraction toward Min-kyung, or make things even more complicated.
Tension is also foreseen between Ji-hyeon and Won-kyu. Ji-hyeon looks frustrated, even provoking Won-kyu about his date, and one wonders whether the two will finally clear their misunderstandings or move further apart.
In the latter part of episode 16 of Transit Love season 4 preview, Yoo-sik and Baek-hyun are seen talking about Hyeon-ji. This is because, for one, Hyeon-ji had confessed to Baek-hyun that she still has feelings for him after having told Yoo-sik that he was more important to her. Now, it seems like Yoo-sik has shared everything with Baek-hyun, setting the stage for even more emotional conflict.

The full season has 22 episodes, and episode 16 of Transit Love Season 4 will be released on December 17, 2025, at 6 PM KST on TVING and Viu. Until this point, there are only two ex-couples who really seem to have a shot at reconciling: Woo-jin and Jiyeon, and Jihyeon and Wonkyu. The rest mostly seem to have moved on from their exes by now.

EXchange Season 4 Episode 15 starts off by introducing the special guest, Noh Sang-hyun, before focusing on the residents again. The episode starts with Yun-nyeong and Jae-hyeong finally sitting down for an honest talk. During their conversation, it is revealed that Yun-nyeong started dating Jae-hyeong’s best friend a mere three months after breaking up with him, news that considerably hurt him.
They openly discuss the lingering resentment, emotional scars, and immaturity that occurred, all while reassuring each other that they will support one another’s choices on the show and beyond. The tearful, emotional exchange truly underscores how a first love can always leave its mark long after a romance has ended.
In episode 15 of Transit Love Season 4, the first letter in Kamakura arrives, announcing a major plot twist: the guys are to choose dates for their exes. No one is allowed to recommend themselves, and choices need to be made without any regret. They get 30 minutes of private time with each ex-couple before they reassemble.

Later that night, with their identities already known to each other, the residents sent messages to the person who had made their hearts flutter that day. Ji-yeon received a message from Woo-jin, telling her about his surprise plan to take her on an unexpected journey to Japan. Won-kyu also left a gentle message for Ji-yeon, thanking her for such a relaxing day.
Ji-yeon texted Woo-jin to say she was sorry they weren’t able to come in together, which was a first for her choosing him. Encouraged, Woo-jin has a talk with Ji-yeon and confesses that on one of his dates in the past, he indeed found Min-kyung attractive, but would always choose Ji-yeon. Regrettably, his honesty brings tension because Ji-yeon wants him to look only upon her if he really wants her back.
Episode 15 of EXchange Season 4 wraps up with a very emotional confrontation between Ji-hyeon and Won-kyu. Ji-hyeon voices her disappointment due to his unchanged behaviour, first when they were together and now, too, and she says his actions toward Ji-yeon bother her. Their conversation abruptly ends, leaving their relationship more uncertain than ever.
