EXchange Season 4 Episode 11 saw the return of BTOB’s Lee Min-hyuk as a guest, but the real highlights of this episode were the deep emotional ex-room revelations.
The ex-room dilemma pushed Ji-hyeon and Won-kyu into a tense 10-minute conversation behind the curtain. Ji-hyeon broke down, confessing that their breakup still felt unexpected and rooted in what she believed was insincere love. She explained how her self-esteem had suffered during their relationship. She let Won-kyu go into the ex-room alone at the end, where memories of their relationship include a wedding video they once planned together, which faced him with the realisation of how deeply she was hurt and drew him to tears.
Meanwhile, Woo-jin and Ji-yeon had some painful truths to face. Ji-yeon asked Woo-jin if he had been cold lately because of the unresolved feelings in him. The ex-room, reproducing her home where they spent much of their relationship, made Woo-jin face the loneliness he had caused her and his regret at the recent angry behaviour.
Later, in Episode 11 of Transit Love Season 4, Won-kyu went back into the house and asked Ji-hyeon for a date while confessing his jealousy.
