2026 SPOTV K-Pop Awards Voting System
Fan engagement plays a critical role in the SPOTV K-Pop Awards inaugural year. Fan votes make up the entire basis for the Global Fan Choice Award, while 20% of the final score for all other award categories comes from fan votes. The Fan Choice award voting system involves Round 1 and the FINAL. Those artists that advance from Round 1 start the final round without receiving any votes from Round 1. This means that the votes received during Round 1 do not carry forward to the final round, and contestants compete only by the number of votes received during the final voting phase.
In calculating the final result, the percentage of votes received by each nominated artist on BIGC and coogoong is calculated equally according to the system of evaluating the event. Votes from both sites have equal value, with a 1:1 ratio. In other award categories, the share of fan voting will account for 20% of the final evaluation of all nominees, with the award winners to be announced on September 6.
