Today, on September 6, the 2026 SPOTV K-Pop Awards Winners List has officially been released. All K-pop idols have gathered in KINTEX Ilsan to attend the first-ever ceremony. The event was hosted by both SPOTV and BIGC, where the winners will be selected from various categories and generations using data from Circle Chart and fans globally.
The event for the 2026 SPOTV K-Pop Awards is taking place at KINTEX, Ilsan, on September 6. The main MCs for the event are Jang Sung Kyu, Tsuki from the group Billlie and Han Yujin from AND2BLE. According to the official announcement on SPOTV, the broadcast channels for the ceremony are SPOTV2 and SPOTV PLUS.
The ceremony comes after the 2026 SPOTV K-Pop Awards red carpet event, where the host, Kim Yun-hee, greeted the artists at the venue as they arrived in their best outfits. The ceremony commenced with an opening performance dedicated to some of the third-generation K-pop acts.
The performers for the opening stage of 2026 SPOTV K팝 어워즈 were POW with “MAMA” by EXO, IDID performing SEVENTEEN’s “Adore U,” and MODYSSEY with BTS’ “No More Dream.” The collaborative performance made a thrilling beginning for the award ceremony while highlighting the impact of the previous generation of K-pop artists.
We also got to see CLOSE YOUR EYES perform “SOB,” and cosmosy performed “Paradise ~ I need you ~.”
