Winners of 24th Director’s Cut Awards: Hyun Bin, Yeom Hye-ran, Park Ji-hoon and More Celebrate Major Victories

Winners of 24th Director’s Cut Awards are finally out, and there were some of the most famous names in Korean cinema and TV dramas who won this year’s award ceremony. The 제24회 디렉터스컷 어워즈 was conducted on May 19, 2026, at 6 PM KST, and the winners were finally revealed through the Instagram account of the Directors Guild of Korea following the event.

The 24th Director’s Cut Awards 2026 were hosted by Kim Cho-hee, Bong Man-dae, and director Jang Hang-jun. The event acknowledged some of the most celebrated Korean films and drama series of the year. Among others, the 2026 edition of the ceremony made big headlines with its significant victories for Low Life, Made in Korea, No Other Choice, and The King’s Warden. The drama category was dominated by actors Hyun Bin and Lim Soo-jung, who won the acting award. while acclaimed filmmaker Park Chan-wook once again proved his dominance in Korean cinema by winning Best Director for No Other Choice.

The awards show is an annual event hosted by Directors Guild of Korea (DGK) that recognizes works produced from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. What makes the Director’s Cut Awards different from other mainstream entertainment award shows is that the awards are highly valued because the winners are chosen by their peers in the industry.
