With the opening of the grand two-day entertainment fest on May 16 in the Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan, the Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026 Day 1 Winners List has begun to be announced live with some of the fan-favorite entertainers bagging several awards. Although there is much more to come in terms of award presentations and performances on the second day of the event, the first day of the 3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards has certainly become a star-studded event dedicated to Asian music and entertainment.
With Hyungwon of MONSTA X and Rei of IVE fronting the event as the primary MCs on the first day, the red carpet and main stage welcomed musicians from both Korea and Japan for one of the major entertainment shows of the season. With winners ranging from rookies and upcoming artists to established idols ruling the fan-voted sections, the initial winners of the ASEA 2026 have already showcased the extensive scope of nominees for this year.
ENHYPEN, &TEAM, and Lim Youngwoong were some of the first winners of the night, while other up-and-coming bands like ALPHA DRIVE ONE, IDID, and VVUP also grabbed awards during the live airing of the event. ENHYPEN for DESIRE: UNLEASH
The Red Carpet of Day 1 of the ASEA 2026 started from 3:30 PM Korea Standard Time (KST), while the award show followed immediately after that at 5:30 PM KST. The ceremony will be streamed through different channels such as U-NEXT, NAVER CHZZK and Naver TV.
On the other hand, Day 2 of ASEA 2026 will carry on the following day, May 17, as the hosts for this time around will be TVXQ’s Max Changmin and actress Lee Sung Kyung. It is also expected that more performances as well as awards in the daesang category will be awarded.
