Girl From Nowhere: The Reset Episode 6 Review: Directed by Wasuthep Ketpetch, the finale of เด็กใหม่ The Reset brings back Nanno, played by Becky Rebecca Patricia Armstrong, in yet another setting with moral depravity. This time around, Nanno will be seen along with other cast members, including Jump Pisitpol Ekaphongpisit, Tee Teeradech Vitheepanich, Sam Prudtichai Ruayfupant and many more, as the show comes to a close.

Girl From Nowhere: The Reset Episode 6 Recap

Episode 6 of Girl From Nowhere: The Reset is titled “election”, where the story takes place in an all-new setting of a school. There is an upcoming election at the school where one of the most charismatic students named Paradorn, who also has some great plans for the future, is winning the election. However, as per usual, Nanno makes an appearance to mess things up.

The election quickly becomes a struggle for power rather than ethics. Whereas Paradorn attempts to follow sound policy, Nanno works to sway the masses through carefully planned actions such as a marketing campaign that substitutes concepts for notoriety by offering “1 Kiss, 1 Idea.” After a compromising film is released against her, Nanno manages to turn things around by declaring that it is a fake film and blaming everything on Paradorn.

In a bid to restore his reputation, Paradorn starts performing acts of benevolence. On the other hand, his best friend resorts to rigging the electoral process by substituting ballot boxes. When this act of malpractice is detected by Paradorn, he makes the revelation and quits to save his honour. However, it is later revealed by Nanno that she had put him through a test to find out who he really is.

But things get worse for Paradorn when Nanno reveals to him a view of his future, in which, despite succeeding in life, his past deeds will catch up with him and ruin his good name. Unable to handle the reality, Paradorn goes crazy. When Nanno presses further on the issue, he becomes violent and assaults her. Sky tries to defend Nanno, but gets killed in the process.

However, Nanno never fails to come back. She will reveal the truth by pointing out the crimes that Paradorn committed in the future, resulting in his demise. Unable to cope with the repercussions of his actions, Paradorn ends his life. As Nanno leaves at the end of the Girl From Nowhere: The Reset Episode 6, there is a suggestion that her work is not done yet, as she watches human nature closely.

Girl From Nowhere: The Reset Episode 6 Review

Personally speaking, I was extremely disappointed with the ending of Girl From Nowhere: The Reset Episode 6. I must admit that I really liked the first two episodes of this season; they had that cutting-edge element which is unique to Girl From Nowhere. However, starting from episode number three, the story began to become a bit blurred, and at the end, when we come to episode six, everything becomes very clear.

For me, the main problem with this movie is its forcedness. In terms of the election, it could have been an interesting approach, but now it looks like a chaotic mess, with all elements being random and not fitting well together. The role of Nanno is performed much less convincingly, and the turn of Paradorn into evil looks too sudden. Overall, the series wanted to show something powerful about power and its corruption, but it failed.

Another thing that has failed is the predictability of the plotline. It used to be clever to have Nanno “test” her prey by exposing all his/her weaknesses and driving him/her to self-destruction. In this series, however, it seems obvious and even futile since there is little that can make the reader care about Sky.

Girl From Nowhere: The Reset ending-wise, this episode would be expected to leave an impact that will stay with you, but it just ends up being disappointing and surprisingly empty. The entire ride is not so impressive when you end the season on such a wild and confusing note. This one just disappoints because of all the potential that it had in the past.
