Kpop Comebacks in May 2025: We all love new music every month, and K-pop always finds a way to make that craving something just a bit more special. May 2025 is right around the corner, and now is the time to see which K-pop artists will finally be making their comebacks. There are iconic bands and thrilling solo acts in every nook and cranny this month, and it’s going to demolish your playlist.
The most thrilling return in the month of May is probably going to be BTS’s Jin with his second mini album. After his first solo album, Happy, which was filled with love, warm and incredible vocals, fans have been eagerly waiting to hear more from him. He has already impressed with his abilities as a solo, so fans are dying to know what kind of music they will get to hear from him in the future.
We’re also expecting a whole new album from a charming nine-member girl group, TWICE, shaking things up in Japan for their fifth comeback too! They have always been that group with catchy hit after hit, and there is a reason why they’re one of the biggest up there on the charts of girl groups. They’re so talented, energetic, and their songs are so catchy that each comeback is a big event.
And of course, we cannot forget EXO’s Baekhyun, who is also making his grand comeback! After completing his military service, he has returned stronger than ever. His 4th mini album Hello, World has already achieved massive success, helping him reach “triple million-seller” status as a solo artist. His upcoming music is sure to continue this amazing streak.
SEVENTEEN fans also have a lot to celebrate. The band will share a 5th full-length album to commemorate a big milestone: 10 years since they first started! Their evolution, creativity, and downright incredible teamwork have been super clear since day one, making this one quite a delightful love letter to a group who really blossomed.
We will see not only the group comebacks, but some fantastic singles too. Tomorrow X Together (TXT) will be dropping a digital single. Known for their bright, cheerful melodies and youthful vibes, their music always feels refreshing, and their upcoming release is sure to bring more of that feel-good energy we love.
Bomb collabs aside, there’s another exclusive treat prepared for BTS’s RM and Epik High’s Tablo fans. The two artists are working together on a digital single collaboration. If you remember just how great they sounded stunting all over All Day, the track from RM’s debut solo album Indigo, then you already know that this new project is something special.
One of the groups I am personally excited for is BOYNEXTDOOR. Since their debut, they have truly impressed me with their artistic style and unique sound. They’re one of my faves of the 5th gen that I suppose have really solidified now, so very happy to know they’re coming back again in May.
DAY6 is another name that cannot be missed. They absolutely ruled 2024 with their comeback, putting out songs that touched deep emotions and connected strongly with listeners. Their music has a gift for forcing you to feel every word, and the fact that they’re coming back around once more has fans pumped.
Also, on the May comeback list will be P1Harmony, who will unveil their 8th mini album. The exuberance, bright playing and earworm tunes of the band never disappoint fans, and they are curious to see what colours they bring to this outing.
What’s even more exciting is that two of the NCT’s members will be returning with their solo comebacks. Yuta will debut with a Japanese single for the first time, and Chenle will present fans with a Chinese special EP. The two have shown their own attractions, and fans have been waiting for their solo activities for a long time.
If you haven’t noticed by now, the next few weeks are going to be action-packed for K-pop enthusiasts, as some of the most spectacular acts return for the month of May.
