The long-awaited annual celebration of the Korean entertainment industry finally started to reveal the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards winners list (제62회 백상예술대상) as the big awards ceremony took place in COEX D Hall, Seoul, on May 8, 2026. The live broadcast of the ceremony, which began at 7:50 PM KST, followed the red carpet event, which took place at 5:50 PM KST. The hosts of the award ceremony will be back for the eighth time in a row – Shin Dong-yup, Bae Suzy, and Park Bo-gum.
Under the sponsorship of Gucci, the highly prestigious ceremony will be giving awards for some of the best work produced on television, OTT platforms, cinema films, theatre plays, and musical performances in Korea during the period from April 1st, 2025, to March 31st, 2026. It is noteworthy this time around that Baeksang has launched an entire new category in recognition of the diamond jubilee celebration of Korean musicals. With many more awards to come, there will be tough competition, as viewers watch the proceedings from PRIZM and NAVER CHZZK channels.
