The 1st D Awards 2024 Winner List shocked the world with its roster of K-pop’s finest stars and emerging talents taking the centre stage. Making its maiden appearance with a star-studded ceremony at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium on February 22, 2025, the 1st D Awards made a memorable debut in the K-pop awards show scene. Hosted by Go Min-si and Lee Jong-won, the evening saw fans watch a mix of great performances and surprising wins set the tone.
The D Awards 2024 boasted an amazing roster of performers like Enhypen, Riize, Zerobaseone, Fifty Fifty, NCT Wish, and others. The event began at 6 PM KST following a red carpet show at 3:30 PM KST with a celebrity parade. Cha Seung-won, Ahn Eun-jin, Kim Ji-eun, GOT7’s Jinyoung, Roh Jeong-eui, and Go Kyung-pyo were some of the stars who appeared as presenters for the event.
Boy groups Enhypen, Riize, and Zerobaseone were the biggest winners, solidifying themselves as the K-pop players to be watched. They took home several awards in different categories, reiterating their presence in the industry. Meanwhile, newly debuted groups QWER, UNIS, Young Posse, and KickFlip also made their mark, holding their own in the competitive K-pop industry.
One of the evening’s highlights was Jo Yuri, a former IZ*ONE member and up-and-coming star of Squid Game Season 2, taking home the D Awards Impact award. Her transition from K-pop idol to successful actress was a success, and fans were rooting for her.
