The Taipei Dome has officially opened its doors to the 40th Golden Disc Awards Red Carpet, and the beautiful and star-studded night is already on. This time, the famous award ceremony is going to celebrate its 40th anniversary outside of South Korea, and the red carpet is gradually lighting up with the presence of some of the biggest K-pop legends and the young stars of tomorrow. The main ceremony is set to take place at 6:30 PM KST, and the excitement is only getting higher with each artist arriving, presenting great fashion and taking confident pictures.
The Taipei Dome is already full of buzz from the evening event, and it is just the first wave of guests who have already come in. To the delight of the fans, the first-day K-pop scene with its different and changing styles has been revealed. The red carpet of the 2026 Golden Disc Awards was soon spotted with fresh faces and old ones as the Taipei Dome already received the first guests of the main ceremony. First to arrive were the up-and-coming CORTIS, ALLDAY PROJECT, CLOSE YOUR EYES, KiiiKiii, izna, and ARrC, while the rookies were giving the theme in black-and-white, blue-and-white, and leather looks. The likes of NCT WISH and TWS coming back to the Golden Disc Awards were in excellent fitted suits, whereas ZEROBASEONE made their third consecutive presence even sweeter as they celebrated Gunwook’s birthday on the carpet.
During the 제40회 골든디스크어워즈, the main event, i.e., the major faves, took over the scene. BOYNEXTDOOR was the most playful and in high spirits as they showed up with their funny poses, while, on the other hand, LE SSERAFIM’s high-class fashion did the same, presenting most of the girls in perfect white and Chaewon’s gorgeous light mauve-pink outfit as the only one of its kind. IVE, in the same chic theme of the evening, appeared in striking white and silver outfits.
